Volunteer with Us!
North Tyneside Citizens Advice is looking for people to join our team of volunteers. Volunteers at Citizens Advice come from a range of backgrounds and ages to contribute their time and skills to help deliver this important service. You can also gain vital work experience and life skills, and enhance your CV, as well as helping make a real difference to people’s lives.
Last year, our volunteers helped 18,296 people with 75,617 problems, such as debt, housing, benefit and employment issues.
Volunteers at Citizens Advice help us in roles such as giving our clients information and advice, raising funds, keeping the service running smoothly, and helping with the strategic direction of the organisation.
The benefits are many and our volunteers increase skills and confidence while meeting new people and seeing a positive impact for the clients we help.
Mark Almond, Chief Officer at North Tyneside Citizens Advice said:
“Our volunteers contribute their time and energy to make a huge difference to people’s lives and help keep our vital service running. If you’d like to help people in your community, and can spare a few hours a week, we’d love to hear from you.”
