Our Impact
Every year thousands of people come to us for help solving their problem.
We also increased our impact for clients, nearly doubling our client benefit gains to £16.4 million and dealt with 7,556 benefit clients and 5,793 debt clients.

We managed to achieve these fabulous results, thanks to the hard work and diligence of our staff who delivered on all fronts. Our funding covers a diversity of projects and we were able to perform on all our contracts.
Out of the clients who visited us last year:

Through our service in 2022/2023, financially:
- We saved NHS funds by reducing use of health services and keeping people in work, providing £1,491,439 in value
- We reduced Local Authority expenses by preventing Homelessness and Evictions, and use of Mental Health services, totalling £1,183,852 and re-scheduled £134,346 in Council Tax Arrears
- Our Benefit advice had a value to our clients of £20,057,432
- Total value of debts written off service wide £12,029,417
- We reduced DWP costs by keeping people in work, saving £2,221,904
- Value of fiscal benefit providing Debt advice to clients (national and local) £5,676,391
- Public value of volunteering £185,829
In 2022/2023, we have:
- Advised 21,546 people
- Handled 107,141 issues
- Achieved £16,396,107 in benefits and income gains for clients
- Arranged for £3,531,149 of debt to be written-off
- Supported 4,824 people with Universal Credit issues
